Vice Guide to (Conscious) Travel
Role: Creative Producer
In collaboration with Samsonite, this mini travel series was created in response to the rise of nomadic lifestyles and a growing interest in slow, intentional travel.
Ultimately, we wanted to raise an important question:
Can travel ever truly be conscious?
Through this 3-episode series, we explore the complex realities of modern travel and how (despite its contradictions), it's still possible to tread lightly on our beautiful planet while enjoying the journey.
The series took place over 6 weeks in India, Japan and Philippines, with local hosts and crew throughout production, and post-production done remotely in Singapore.
Collaborated closely with Creative and Production to conduct extensive research to find local sustainable businesses and activities to highlight – whilst ensuring visual cohesiveness in each market
Ensured that client feedback was directly addressed and needs were met throughout the entire production process
Expertly planned ahead of each shoot, working calmly and professionally under immense pressure and tight timelines
Developed the storyline and structure for all social cutdowns, ensuring each piece was visually cohesive, aligned with the main episodes, and optimised for social platforms
